Gosport Distribution
Location- Norfolk Naval Ship Yard, VA
Client-U.S Naval Facilities Engineering Command
Installation and commissioning of a new switch house and SF-6 circuit breakers connected by 54,000 linear feet of conduit from utility substation to distribution switchgear in order to upgrade Norfolk Naval Shipyard primary power. Work included installation and calibration of all controls and instrumentation as well as the installation of a 24-way concrete encased duct bank.
Repair Electrical Distribution (base wide)
Location- Defense Supply Center Richmond
Client- U.S Army Corps of Engineers
Design/ Build underground and overhead primary power distribution system. Modernized primary power distribution and control systems network base-wide. Installed power distribution feeders, pad mount transformers and switches, splicing and load break terminations and monitoring and control data acquisition systems.
MARFORLANT Command Center
Location- Norfolk Naval Station, VA
Client- U.S Naval Facilities Engineering Command
New 54,000 sq ft Command and operations center. Self performed electrical, communications, and security requirements indluding power distribution feeders, pad mount transformers and switch gears. Total facility up fit including all secondary power distribution, equipment controls, lighting, security, communications and data terminations.
P235V Naval Warfare Command Center
Location- Norfolk Naval Station, VA
Client- Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC)
Project Included the design and construction of a three story steel frame building, reinforced concrete floors, auger cast pile foundation, masonry and stone veneer, glass windows, curtain walls and metal panels conforming to the Base Exterior Architectural Plan (BEAP) criteria for Naval Station Norfolk. Included primary power, secondary distribution, fire alarm system, telecommunications, intrusion detection system, metering, mass notification and lighting controls.
Drill Sergeant School
Location- Fort Jackson,SC
Client- U.S Army Corps of Engineers
Responsible for all electrical design, site primary electrical power, facility electrical distribution, secondary circuit installation, facility and exterior lighting, operational equipment electrification, data and communication systems, environmental systems controls, and electronic safety and security systems. Provided electrical design assist in the design build process and managed the safety, procurement, quality control, schedule control and commissioning and execution of all electrical requirements.
SOF Brigade Headquarters
Location- Fort Bragg, NC
Client- U.S Army Corps of Engineers.
Project included construction of 70,000+sqft steel framed building, 1.5 miles of asphalt road paving and hardstand, as well as bio-retention ponds and ditches. Building interior included SCIF area which required special attention to detail and increased security measures. Responsible for all aspects of construction including electrical, mechanical, communications and civil works. All work done in compliance with USACE regulations and requirements.
